Ever since I started knitting a couple of years ago, I can't help but notice people walking around NYC wearing hand knit or crocheted scarves. Every scarf has a story. I am going find out what it is. I will get over my innate shyness and start to approach people and ask them to tell me about their scarf. I want to know if they made it themselves or if it was a gift. And if it was a gift, who gave it t them? A dear or distant friend? A relative? A significant (or insignificant) other? I wonder if the people I have made scarves for get asked about them. Inquiring minds want to know!
